Great discussion… very interesting point about the reason for not recognizing and studying Wilberforce …that is recognizing the positive impact of Christianity on the freedom of the individual from slavery. The progressive Marxists hate Christianity… but another possibility is because the Marxist left totalitarian philosophy IS ABOUT SLAVERY. They must teach that the free individual is an evil curse on society….collectivist thinking is preferable….and collectivist is just another word for slavery! I was hoping the discussion would address the concept of reparations… putting one group of people in bondage to another group of people. An idea just as evil and anti Christian as slavery…but an idea Marxists love.
