If you listened to the UN assembly from around the world, it became clear that the developing countries are expecting and demanding the sustainable development goals, set out by the UN , to be paid for by the ‘Global West’ (mainly the U.S.). This SDG is a laundry list the size of a roll of toilet tissue! The gloves are off, they expect money to start rolling in now! So the drawbridge does have to go up (after the illegals are tossed). There is no reason the global west can’t have a list of skilled based immigrants that are invited into the countries. Africa, is attempting to do this, they basically say to diaspora people from around the world, if you have money or a skill we need, please immediately come to Africa. If they can do that, the west can do it. And in order for mass migration to stop, the global south has to adopt capitalism and control corruption. The global west should have a motto…trade not aid! The West does not owe developing countries anything, they have been given billions every year for decades by very generous taxpayers. However, taxpayers are not slaves, and should not be responsible for 7 billion people on the planet. Close the drawbridge!
