  1. There is a power imbalance between the US and the rest of the world for one and only one reason…. capitalism. It’s the one thing that is different from all other countries. There is no explaining it away because one group of people are evil ( 4%of the world pop) and 96% of the world are honest and just victims. No other countries have switched to capitalism… they have stayed communist, dictators, etc. That is their choice… not to have a wealthy large private sector middle class. And the products and services that the US middle class produces…the world demands….That is what led to the power imbalance. One other important thing that people overlook… that is world population. The only reason there are 8B people on the planet is because of that technology. If the US stops producing food, medicine, and other life saving needs…famines will escalate, if the US does not distribute free medicine to developing countries…pandemics will increase. This is the catch 22 with where we are now. If the private sector falls in the US… technology will come to a standstill, because there are no other wealthy private sector middle class countries. You better calculate that into your equation…it will make a big difference in the current population… and resulting wars. Unless other countries adopt capitalism fast…the world will be in trouble when the US falls.
