In the US it seems clear because of loss of freedom of speech, and loss of employment, or ownership of a business, unless you behave according to a predetermined thought/behavior …. that is not socialism but totalitarianism. Since you have a group of people that are ‘individuals’ you must change them to programmable ‘bots’ ….. that’s not socialism.
