  2. (0:15) Seeing this pop-up made me consider abandoning YouTube altogether if it were not for the creators I have been watching for years. The worst part is that a lot of the ads that YouTube forces on us are very problematic. Some are anti-Trans "culture war" propaganda, others about Zionism heavy, and many more are scams that shouldn't be promoted. Then there's the frequency of ads. It feels like I am watching the cheapest version of Hulu.

  7. The US respects privacy more than Europe only on paper. VPN & adblock detection are very much legal in the US. The best you could do is bring a class action lawsuit, but remember that YouTube has better lawyers and more money to fight a dragged-out legal battle.

  8. Exactly! The ads ruin the pace of the video. This is annoying but very problematic when you are trying to watch a serious video.
