  1.  @Fr3nchFlag  That is insulting and ahistorical. America has extracted PR for all its worth. Hell, just look at how many Puerto Ricans have served this country, starting from WW1. And what does the island get in return? We treat it like a "floating garbage patch". If Greenland gets annex, it will also be treated like a 19th century colony.

  2. The US already has all the benefits of "owning Greenland" without any of the hassle of actually owning and buying it. Under NATO, the US military has everything it strategically needs and US corporations are on the shortlist of mineral mining. All this does is cause rifts and create bad blood which can be exploited by our opps. Worst case scenario, American blood will spill on the ice of a Greenland that is defended by Europe.
