  1. In a way, this is more helpful. Not in the current presidential election, but more in the long term. Currently, many red states have already shifted far-right along with greater GOP and the party's leader. So moderation, especially in Legislature and Congress, is more crucial than ever as we moving forward as nation. After Trump and the old guard are gone, the GOP will be forced to pivot -- hopefully towards a more balanced political spectrum.

  3. Anti-Mormon Christians: "Let's persecute/exterminate these weird LDS folks so they don't gain substantial political power in this country." Mormons fleeing persecution: Make a home in Utah, & dominate the demographics. End up fielding national level politicians, like Mitt Romney. Anti-Mormon Christians: Surprised Pikachu face Seriously though, more people should learn the history of the Mormons and how they came to be synonymous with Utah.
