  5. Honestly, at this moment, the worst thing for Ukraine OR Israel is that their primary backer is amid political turmoil. The United States can't substantially help anyone until we get our House of Representatives in check. So far, we have been really on diplomatic power and hovering around the limits of what the Executive Branch alone can do. But, to send sufficient aid, for example, the House would need to open the nation's purse string, which it can't because a Speaker still has not been chosen. As an American, it feels like we are presenting as unreliable.

  6. I remember learning that the students attending UC Berkeley in 1940 held a large protest in favor of Hitler's "Leadership" in Europe and for the US to abandon her historical allies. That's something people on campus don't like remembering today. This was just a sample of the general sympathetic sentiments that were felt by many Americans across the nation in the years & months before the Attack on Pearl Harbor.

  7.  @kremepye3613  That policy was largely disastrous and led to the destruction of 90% of Europe. The only reason Nazi Germany didn't conquer all of Europe was because of America's entry and Winter being a bitch in Russia.
