@Peter-du5gw This is true for most immigrants from the developing world. Asian immigrants just get lumped into the stereotype. On top of that, there are student visas. In recent decades, Asian students from countries like China have been choosing to take their higher education in America or Europe. All of these factors are nuance ignored.

@lorenzoplaserrano8734 Ever heard of Black Excellence? Or do you only subscribe to the model minority myth?

"Race-Neutral Admissions". Oh, really? I didn't realize I could just hit the colorblind option on my college application so I wouldn't have to worry about discrimination. Oh wait, I can't. There are no race-neutral admissions. In America, it's either affirmative action or admissions that almost completely favor cis-gendered, straight, rich white applicants.

False on both parts. Affirmative Action sets targets for all minorities, not just Black and Latino kids. And Asian Americans being more successful than any other minority race is also a harmful stereotype; the "model-minority" myth.
