This is what Trump is trying to do in America and what Modi has been doing in India.

US climate scientists: Yikes, we'll have to depend on the politicians.

(0:30) Wait does that mean Vox has a labor union!? That is so cool!
1
Thank you for sharing!
1
What? What do non-firearm-related suicides have to do with gun control laws?
1
@Fjottle Nothing is wrong with it. This person just doesn't know how to appreciate two pieces of great journalism without knocking one or the other.
1
@tomaccino Exactly. Besides, both JH's Team & Vox's teams still get along well.
1
My favorite is the Mid-90s. It felt so raw.
1
I am also glad for you
1
Uhh. I'm not complaining, but why is a deodorant company teaching me about student loans.
1
Okay.... WHERE DID YOU GET THAT RAINBOW CHALK!!!!?
1
Johnny already beat you to the chase😉😂
1
That World Power character is a thiccy. "Union"-chan is waifu material.
1
It's dangerous for a military to get tunnel vision and put all their eggs in one basket. It's even more dangerous for a government to lose sight of its responsibility to protect the people and maintain the peace. The Israeli people deserve better from their government. And the Palestinians deserve better from their unrequited neighbors.
1
@Illiteratechimp The best we can get from the current system is bipartisanship. But that is hard to find these days.
1
Anyone with enough money can legally own or build a PMC. Disney just doesn't have a reason to do that. (So DeSantis better not give them a reason.)
1
@roguestarr4382 oh my bad I thought you were spouting anti-Fred Hampton rhetoric. Right on brother. BLM.
1
I love how deep and amazingly positive this video was! I very much appreciated this. Very informative; very engaging; very journalistic.
1
@ndiogouniang83 Well, DC & Puerto Rico SHOULD be stated. And the statehood movements in these territories are effective.
1
While Australia fought and lost a war against the vicious emo, America was too busy committing genocide again the humble bison to notice. Despite the fact, the bison was indigenous to the Great Plains long before any European set foot in the "new world".
1
Easily.
1
Russian Roulette is a perfect moniker to describe the way the GOP's views the debt ceiling. Sabotage the national debt by using it collateral damage for their political demands -- and if their demands aren't met, they just blame the crisis on the Democrats

"By the 'Better Angels' of our nature."
1
Anyone putting faith in polls is incapable of learning. Sample polls don't vote, people do.

Liscenses + Checks > Liscensing > Background Checks
1
Sheesh. That part, man. That part....
1
EVERYONE DOES, GENIUS. But that ideal world doesn't exist. Instead, discriminatory prejudice does.
1
Translation: "I don't want women in office because I don't think they have merits."
1
That's why most are for it. In idealities, we think a no-fly zone would be a huge relief for Ukraine. However, when you get to the specifics of how it's gained + enforced and the risks like nuclear escalations + European disability.

This conveniently leaves out why more & more students don't wanna go to college. And that those who do go to college still tend to not get the job either. Higher education mitigates this but not as much. Skills that can be proven matter more in interviews than printed certificates. That's because Vox's video conveniently leaves out experience, trades, and vocation education. An increasing majority of employers are looking at these areas more to an oversaturated degree. These phenomena have been exasperated by the Financial crisis & the 2020s crises. This video is misaligned from nuance leaving it unobjective. Support at an early age is only a piece of this "success formula".
1
@loturzelrestaurant The Overton Window shifted American Politics from "Center-Right" to fully "Right". On average, democrats are now 'moderate right-wingers' whilst Republicans are 'Far-Righters'. Even most progressives in the Democratic Coalition, like AOC & Bernie, are only "Center" to "Center-Left".
1
@modelbashir2365 Because of the G5 Security Council. If you ever ask yourself, why didn't the UN stop (insert crisis/conflict), then the answer will always be international bureaucracy. I mean, the UN doesn't even have a standing peacekeeping force; countries are supposed to benevolently deploy some forces out of the goodness of their hearts.
1
I really do love VOX Atlas. I got into it when Johnny Harris was making borders and geography videos. And I still love it today.
1
Even American international flights have very tight legroom. @lauraqueentint
1
hero complex lol
1
Not a bad idea.
1
Well I'm gonna go ahead and say it. If it ain't American Imperialism, it's European Colonialism.
1
Making it tougher for people with DIUs to own cars**, you mean.
1
@jonasmejerpedersen4847 Or any developed nation. Mass gun shootings that never get addressed are an American-only problem.
1
I just wanted a boring year but that was apparently too much to ask for. I don't like living in historical times.
1
Yup. We recognize that Project 2025 has surpass the threshold of "sufficient tyranny".
1
Classic Delta.
1
(5:20) It was around here that I started crying.
1
The British messed up everybody's borders, causing decades of conflicts, then made it the UN's responsibility.
1
Based on his judicial voting record and the fact that he is only a moderate conservative, Chief Justice Roberts' vote isn't too surprising when it comes to equal protection rights. What's more surprising is that one of his extremist-conservative colleagues on the bench flipped on a socio-political issue.
1
Honestly, calling Hong Kong a Chinese city leaves a bad taste in my mind.
1
@aidenng2602 How is that "not bad"? A lil freedom goes a long way....
1
@wingkeungkong415 Sike!!!!! In any event, it isn't humanitarian nor is it good optics for the mainland and the CCP.
1
@wingkeungkong415 I guess all I am saying is CCP needs to respect human & democratic rights especially if it signed a promise to do so (for at least 50 years). That is a very reasonable, bare-minimum expectation for a rising superpower.
1
@wingkeungkong415 You know absolutely nothing about civil unrest. If people are protesting for change, 9/10 those being are being oppressed in some way. Under the agreement Beijing + London signed over the transition of Hong Kong into China, the CCP legally swore to allow "self-determination" for the Hong Kong citizens. When Beijing started disregarding their rights, civil unrest started festering, leading to civil disobedience. This is also why BLM civil unrest rose up in 2020, because of police brutality & the killing of George Floyd. The point is oppression leads to civil unrest/disobedience.
