  3.  @KBoon  In a conversation about guns, overall homicide rates aren't relevant. Deaths caused by guns do. Better to answer your question: Missouri has 2 of the top 5 US cities with the highest murder per capita rates.

  4. This is why Shinzo Abe's death was such a shock to me. (May he rest in peace.) Still, that high profile case aside, Japanese people don't have to live in fear due to daily gun violence.

  5. In this country, the so-called "gun debate" is the most depressing socio-political issue of our time. It is actually the only thing that makes me not want to raise my future children in this country. (Not even bigotry and/or the rise of the far-right does that.)
