  1. WHY AREN'T MORE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT THIS? Commodity shortages were only a part of the consequences. Persistent isolation of the world's 1st & 2nd most important breadbaskets has had deadly ramifications on the world food supply. And right now is only the tip of the iceberg, the longer the war rages on, the worse the "global famine" (of sorts) will continue to become.

  2. Reality will only get worse for nations/regions/states that are already experiencing natural-caused famines or siege/man-made famines. I pray for those people first & foremost.

  3. UN Sec-Gen António Guterres, the one with the most important mediating job, is basically telling NATO to negotiate w/ Putin's terrorist tactics. He is useless because NATO still has to counter Russia's aggression. And, if NATO isn't fighting Russia w/ sanctions, the only other way to fight is through direct military conflict. He really is useless; as useless as PM Neville Chamberlain. But, I guess, at least, someone who is uselessly inactive is better than someone who is negatively active... or something.
