We all need Chris Murphy to step up right now. I've been following his fight against the NRA for a decade now and want him to bring that energy into this fight. Seeing him open up and be honest about the state of the party on TDS w Jon Stewart was a great first step.

Support the alternatives then. Chris Murphy or Bernie or Warren are much better candidates to lead Senate Democrats.

Next primary is too far away. He gots to be recalled.

Comments like this just give you an excuse to give up. The problem is the leadership. Yet you excuse them when you tear down the majority who support with AOC and Bernie. Even centrists like Murphy are fighting the good fight. If you don't like the corporate elite, then help reform the party. We have been doing this work since 2016.

That's not enough. Recall him! and vote for someone better. We have a deep bench.
4
Primary? That's like telling us to wait 4 years to do something about Fetterman. RECALL HIM!

This is classic strawman fallacy. No one was talking about being happy that children are suffering. We are saying we cant keep helping those who don't want to help themselves. I have lots of family & friends who voted Harris/Walz in red states, I can barely help ONLY them. Once again, all I can think about is Harriet Tubman. TLDR: The schadenfreude is only for those who voters who didn't vote right. Children (less than 18) are obviously not voters.
3
We have done both already. We tried to switch him about with Harriet Tubman, but Republicans threw a fit. And we have taught about his atrocities for decades, but Republican states have started to ban history books critical of US treatment of minorities.

This is why the Greens never get anywhere. Most local office is never competed for. The candidate just show up and win office without ever facing opposition.

Y'all keep bring this up but never wanna tell the whole truth. In Korea, even the President's party voted unanimously with the (Korean) Democrats to end martial law. During Nixon's presidency, Republicans not only voted for his impeachment but also passed the Impoundment Control Act with large bipartisan support. The difference between Korean and us now is the lack of bipartisanship.

Plus stop saying primary. You want us to do nothing for 4 years??? HE NEEDS TO BE RECALLED!!
2
For the love of God Pennsylvania, please recall Fetterman and give us a non-Manchin!!! You mf are too busy waiting for a primary that is 4 years away. I'm getting real sick of do-nothing voters electing collaborationist politicians. AND NEW YORK! Force Schumer to pass the torch. Voters that complain but don't act are also part of the problem.
2
NEW YORKERS!!!! RECALL SCHUMER!!! 2028 is too far away!

I have a different problem: Apathy. We're just tryna survive as it is over here. So I'm kinda sick of constantly extending my hand when I know they will still vote for him again. I take no joy from this but even Harriet Tubman had to leave some slaves behind. I pray for the children that have to inherit this disaster.
2
Protest smarter, not harder. The goal is to get results without triggering martial law.

It won't go anywhere because it's MN but this is dangerous. BTW your point about local politics is why I'm glad the DNC elected MN DFL's Ken Martin as chair.

As a Black person, this is everything I warned of. Hell, I was even condemning Bukele's turn to dictatorship years ago. CECOT is a concentration camp. White people and Latinos knew this but didn't care because they thought only "other" minorities would be targeted. "I didn't think the Leopards would eat MY face".
1
Why are you talking as if it's not the voters first? Kamala ran on economic populism and got smeared as a communist by working class Americans. The working class needs to change if America is to change.

I really don't think it is too much to ask for people to be lock in with their local politics. If so many people weren't so focused on national politics - especially the Presidency - our cities and states wouldn't be overrun with corruption and wealth inequality. Every single big city liberal or whatever needs to lock in LIKE YESTERDAY.

Weak leaders like Chuck are breaking our coalition. For the first time, we have the New Democrat(centrist) and Progressive factions of the party united against our spineless leadership.
1
I get what you mean but wrong conclusion. We shouldn't want a single vote from Republicans. There are 90 million Americans (36% of the electorate) who chose not to vote. Start there before you start with children born into a cult. We have to be realistic. The Berlin Airlift was meant to supply allied-controlled West Berlin, first and foremost.
1
And in 2028, it will be the same story.

This is extremely disingenuous. And that's the problem with comparing Trump to anyone that came before him. America has never elected a Hitler before. So yeah, I would vote for Andrew Jackson in a heartbeat over Trump because at least he wasn't a fascist.

Funny cus do they think those patriots that stormed the beaches of Normandy weren't scared of the threat of death from Nazi machine guns? Yet, here are GOP politicians in peacetime being afraid of written/verbal threats.
