The demon Mara can send Attraction, Aversion, and Delusion to come to tempt me away from enlightenment all he wants. The only enlightenment I would need then is the unholy act the four of us would commit.

By the way, the code for the Queen's passing is actually "London Bridge is down". And, for King George VI', it was "Hyde Park Corner".

Real talk though. Despite the JSDF being one of the most capable forces on the planet, the Japanese public is largely, staunchly pacifistic. And with Japan being one of the most democratic nations, the government would have to rely on public approval. So, the CCP's action would have to be utterly bold and appalling for the Japanese people to throw their weight behind the government.

As a fan of the USAF, it saddens me that, while Operation Desert Strom was a great use of shock & awe tactics, other campaigns were just downright inhumane. For example, Operation Rolling Thunder is one of the grimmest mistakes (& war crimes) committed by America's ariel capabilities.
23
You maybe speak with a sense of bias. Because the infographics show conveyed that the Natives would still wage wars between themselves. But overall, if left to progress undisturbed (like Europe was), the Americas would be prosperous. There would still be wars, but there would be no ethnic genocides, no racial segregation, no colonization, no plagues, and no concept of "racism" (classism yes, but no racism).
21
That is an opinion held only because you see this history as being the only history available.
20
To be fair, Queen Elizabeth 1 did fail in one matter. She never conceived an heir to a throne, and, while luckily there was no war of succession, it meant the end of the Tudor Dynasty. On the other hand, thanks to her reign creating a much more stable and orderly England, after her death, the Monarchy was able to peacefully transition even with all the hurdles.
19
Im weak. Invincibles really became so famous even infographics is talking about it.
19
@kilgore1863 Actually, knowing Henry he would be more fond of her and showed her off due to her reserved beauty paired with her intelligence. He was ruining marriages (beheading and divorces and all) over a lack of male heir. So what makes you think Henry was fine with settling for a female heir? (Despite Queen Elizabeth I being one of the most legendary Monarchs to come out of the British Isles.)
15
The most ironic part is that he wanted to prevent any war like that from happening... "Every time someone tries to win a war before it even starts, innocent people die", Steve Rogers in Ultron.
14
It should be noted that there is a big difference between a recession and a depression. And preventing a depression seems to be the Federal Reserve's priority while trying to stave off the worst parts of a recession. It is important to understand this to understand the current and near-future states of both the US and global economies.
14
@2ShayZeeGe They meant during the interwar period. Hawaii only became a state in 1959. 18 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
13
Gross.... She was way too young.... and HIS DAUGHTER! Henry VIII really was a scourge on the Earth.
13
Very unfortunate. I consider Bonnie and Clyde (misguided) heroes of the Prohibition and Great Depression eras.
12
@numbskull9369 Your statement comes from a lack of understanding of the First Nations. Also, it is very colonial of you to just assume that a different path of human evolution is inherently inferior.
11
lol why does this video sound like a brochure on the corruption of Putin's rule and why he needs to defend himself because of it
10
Someone once told me, "tens of millions of people might not have died if Adolf had a loving mother, a well-represented connection with Jewish culture, and was just encouraged towards his dream of going to art school".
10
There is no way India & China would cooperate together in a military alliance, there economic alliance is already strained as it is.
9
So true. Even after the Emperor's "surrender" speech, many in the Imperial Military -- from high command to soldiers -- wanted to fight to the bitter end, despite knowing defeat was inevitable.
9
@nemunemufan ...a state not a country. Even when it wasn't a state, it was a US territory. Hawaii supported Japan's recognition because the US did -- & most Hawaiian prolly regretted it 2 decades later.
9
The comments taught me that it is easier to laugh about and blame others for financial crises than it is to learn about and deal with them.
8
The Utopia that we robbed ourselves of. Then again any Utopia would be too boring for me.
8
Wow. Well, I am way too invested for there not to be an episode 2. Great narrative; gritty and realistic.
7
@numbskull9369 Also where did you get all of these numbers and "statistics" from? And where are you getting your supporting details from? Because without a credible source, all of this is just bias-driven opinion stating. Which is fine I guess. Your comment is "extremely optimistic".
7
Also, while "The Lone Star" is the most independent state, last year's weather storms proved that Texas will be crippled w/o the rest of the States.
6
You win a cookie, Captain obvious.
6
@skela098 You should read about the Battle of Dagoli, Battle of Adwa, Battle of Lexington & Concord, Battle of Dien Bein Phu, Battle of Wabash, and more. These battles were all parts of wars where the outmatched and technologically inferior forces prevailed. These battles were a part of the wars: The 1st & 2nd Italian Colonization attempts of Ethiopia; the Africans were victorious. The American Revolutionary war; the colonists were victorious. The Vietnam War (both); the northern Vietnamese were victorious. The Northern Indian War; the Northwestern Indian Confederacy was victorious.
6
Not gonna lie. Antonio's story made me jealous. I mean, who wouldn't want to have "fun" with extraterrestrials.
6
What a monster. This video actually made my Red-Flag-spotting skills sharper.
6
Well, that might be true now, but during the Tudor Dynasty, only a third of that was true.
6
She isn't a badass (is a baddie tho), but Elizabeth Regina II is still my favorite sovereign. And probably the world's best & most stable monarch. But gotta honor the fact that Elizabeth Regina I was the OG Faerie Queene, Glorious Gloriana -- & Shakespeare's Titania.
5
I wonder if you heard Fox News say this and just repeated it. Very sad to see that this is your understanding of geoeconomics.
5
Good, old fashion, wishful thinking. The ultimate best reality contrasted by the ultimate worst reality compared to our reality.
5
@jamesschultz30 This stems from a fundamental misunderstanding what "Racism" is and why/how it was intended to be used. Before the age of European Colonization, globally, there was slavery, ethnic discrimination, sexism, classism and colorism. But never racism. This is because, during the age of European Colonization, colonizers needed a form of subjection that works w/ dividing and conquering. This was important for them because they were trying to conquer & colonize every continent other than Europe. So they invented racism to make their colonial "dreams" more attainable. So they oppressed the "Indians" w racism. And, for the first time, they used slavery enslaved people based on which continent they came from. All of this is distinctly European.
5
Once again, Infographics Show is obsessed with the nuclear obliteration of life on Earth.
5
@berryfin4648 You obviously don't understand the term "Superpower". A superpower is a great power that actively projects military, political, economical, & cultural power globally. China is an 'emerging superpower' but only satisfies the economical & cultural requirements -- growing political dominance. Japan is a 'great power' that is culturally renowned but its economy isn't as "great" as it seems. USSR USED to be a superpower, but now Russia can't even seriously be called a 'great power'. And if you were curious, the US is actually an 'emerging "hyperpower"', a state that has no equal rivals. As for now, it has rivals but not equal ones -- only time can tell if US deserves to be called a 'hyperpower'.
4
And wow I didn't know that most Purple Hearts were made for that. I can only be thankful that they weren't needed for that purpose in the end, and that the invasion was canceled.
4
@alaskanoverwatch745 EXACTLY!! Stalin is a paper bear. While they did make plans months in advance, Stalin only declared war on Japan AFTER he heard the US destroyed Hiroshima with Little Boy.
4
@sovietpineapple7938 But remember 3 things. 1) ~500 is not a lot when considering the global responsibilities/commitments of the USAF. 2) It takes significant time to prepare and deploy those bad boys. Not to mention, the expensive cost of maintenance on its cutting-edge materials. 3) The F-35 is a beast that is overqualified for 80% of expectable missions. All of these variables together seriously reduce the number of missions the F-35 can justifiably be deployed on.
4
This was a great video that probably helped hundreds of thousands of people get jobs, especially in the current economic crisis.
4
@adamhunt429 Also the attack on Pearl Harbor was unexpected for everyone because no one thought Imperial Japan was rash enough to drag another great power into the war. It's why people say that Pearl Harbor and Operation Barbarossa were the turning points of WW2.
4
@MarloSoBalJr LOL in what alternate reality.
4
@chrissimmons9743 Funny how The "West Coast Union" (or something) would still be a political, military, economical, & cultural superpower.
4
@jamesschultz30 Ethnic discrimination is not racism. Racial discrimination is racism (oversimplified). And the concept of race is a distinctly European invention. They wanted to export this idea that "White" people (aka Europeans) were better than everyone else -- especially "Black" people (aka Africans).
4
The Aztecs respected and protected mother nature out of fear.
4
@jabronjunklove760 Prolly and It would be the fans to start it.
4
This was a great video that helped inspire me and reaffirm my belief in human's willpower for survival.
3
Timing and synchronization must be key.
3
Uhhh. Eisenhower was president before Kennedy. Maybe you mean Lyndon B Johnson
