Also, in this "New World", the Aztecs and Mayans might be fierce but the Incan Empire would be the true superpower of the Americas.
2
Daniel E. Actually, no. It was a part of First Nations theology and religious, animistic cultures/traditions.

I personally think Califronia would be in the most capable position due to its 6th largest economy (globally), its natural protection (the Rockys), large size + plentiful nature, & HUGE costal area. That being said, I don't think a single state would be able to thrive on its own, especially w/o federal support. Not to mention the fact that, as evident w/ the Civil War, the Federal Government would NEVER allow any state to secede from the Union.

Crazy how the Ukrainian-Russo war could go nuclear while I am watching this video.
2
@Shakshuka69 It is almost paradoxical. To end the conflict, Ukraine has to soundly beat Russia. But, the more Russia loses, the more likely a desperate Putin is gonna go for the nuclear option. And ppl advocate for a "No Fly Zone" but it isn't like NATO can properly get involved w/o starting a world war. I might be wrong but unless Russia is willing to admit defeat, the Ukrainian-Russo War might be another "forever war".
2
I agree on some level. It doesn't matter who controls the White House or Congress, the modern US economy can't fail because the government (lobbied by the American People) doesn't want to let it fail, ever. In my opinion, it is an issue that stems from the American sociology of seeking short-term gains over long-term, delayed gratification.
2
Perhaps. Interesting observation. It would be interesting how the islands of Hawai would have played a role in that alternate history. Still tho, the Natives being the ones to "discover" Iberia would be a sweeter fruit to taste. Poetic Justice, if you please.

@Lord_Elron Hi. 1) I'm pretty sure @Karsten Voigt was talking about the Indigenous people. Instead of sailing in the Atlantic to Europe, they would have sailed out into the Pacific. 2) Actually, yes, Europeans wanted a shortcut to India & China. BUT. Most educated Europeans already knew the size and shape of the Earth. Meaning they understood that sailing around southern Africa would still be faster. But Columbus didn't care, for whatever reason, and rediscovered the New World. IDK if he was uneducated or super hopeful, but he just called it India and patted himself on the back.
2
True. But it shows that human history did NOT have to play out the way it did.
2
Prisons especially in countries like the US and Japan need to reform their system that only thinks about profit and prisoners as statistics. Instead, prisons need to reform to meeting their original intention of rehabilitating criminals.
2
First of all, Christians not entering Mecca is COMPLETELY different than sexism. And second, Saudi Arabia is super misogynistic, since Christians, Jews, & Muslims all share Jerusalem.
2
Yeah. Actually, Japan has a few holy sights that prohibit women. I would not be surprised if the same used to apply to Mount Fuji.
2
I mean US has Ellon Musk now so how will the second half of the 21st century look like? Hmmm.
2
@bobtheanimator8353 To the game.
2
@piers389 Yup. I think "Queen of Titles" should be included in her titles. LOL.
2
@piers389 No, it's fine. I enjoyed reading your essay. The history and trivia of the royal sovereign have always interested me. In fact, I like to think of the Queen's titles as a window into the crown's history. Also, the the different versions showcase the history of the sovereign & the geopolitical realities of the dominions and commonwealths.

Either the Monks of Mount Aethos are EXTREMELY gay or.... are trying to perform a "natural", long-term eugenic process. I mean, even the Holy See is not that misogynistic. While very limited (5% of the citizenry), women are not prohibited -- although there is extreme sexism. Interestingly, while religiously immoral, the Vatican even allows abortion (in highly extreme cases) to preserve the life of the woman -- proving that religion does not prohibit ethical reproductive rights. Mike Pence, SCOTUS, and the South need to take notes.
1
You forgot South Korea because if CCP launches an invasion, the client Kim regime would be emboldened, as well.
1
A very insightful observation.
1
Killer Robots! Crazy how it's not science fiction anymore. There is actually a movement of many people across the world, governments of developing countries, and even the government officials of some EU member states to lobby for the ban, restrictions, regulations, or condemnation of the production and/or potential use of the weapons. So far, the United Nations was only able to reschedule because talks were less successful than the Iranian nuclear deal negotiations.

Bruh. Eden is in heaven -- if it's real. People take heaven on Earth to far.

This video and the impressions are funny hahaha

This WOULD be the greatest 'WHAT IF?' alternate reality in human history. I wonder when and how the Indigenous First Nations' people would start modernizing. What would be their alternative method of industrialization from the European brand of capitalism? Would European nations still turn out as powerful/important without the wealth of the New World? Would there be a scramble for Africa much sooner than later? Would the sun still not be able to set on the (peak) British Empire? Would Hawaii and Japan become rival Pacific superpowers? What would the nationalistic 20th century, and its World Wars, end up looking like?
1
Honestly, the Titanic could have been unsinkable but..... humans happened.
1
Musk beat Besos? I sense a rivalry coming up.

now this is something that is useful

Don't jump the gun on the last line, yet. knocking on wood

@huiyinghong3073 Inaccurate for many reasons. 1) A-bomb/fission nuke is the third most powerful capability in a nation's arsenal. 2) Their impact damage can envelope the whole urban center, firebombing raids were less destructive in terms of individual firepower. 3) You also neglect to factor in that comparing conventional weapons w/ nuclear weapons is a futile task. Nuclear radiation is the most lethal tool of warfare. 4) SEVERAL people questioned & scrutinized the repetitive use of bombers in Germany & Japan. Yes, they finally brought the war back into the territory of those who started it. BUT, they caused casualties in 100,000s & destroyed 1/4 of all Japanese shelters. So, you better, while not underestimate the power of the A-bomb, believe that people opposed the firebombing campaigns.

This fact-check in itself is unfactual. The US has a very, very long history of racking up 100s of billions in debt every single year. To argue otherwise is false and VERY partisan. So "I like this comment, but wording and language shouldn't be skewed just to" put all the blame on an administration. Also, it is the Federal Reserve, Commerce, and Treasury Departments that are responsible for the nation's economics -- obviously not the White House.

2022. A woman can use a male bathroom if she wants. lol
1
Queeny! No! Alas, time is cruel... Anyways, let's see how Prince Charles of Wales reigns. We learned from the "Crown" that there are 2 types of ppl in the royal family: 1) The "stuffy", reliable heirs: like Elizabeth I & II; George VI; Victoria. 2) The wild, unreliable heirs: like Princess Margaret; Edward VII; Henry the misogynist. Prince Charles used to be the former, but the old man is really shaping up to be the latter, fun heir. Well at least, the heir apparent isn't Andrew.
1
Yup. I'm used to them doing that by now. And, I hope POTUS doesn't watch this video and get any ideas.
1
@patrickmcgee6309 As opposed to Trump who actually wanted to turn US into a hermit state. Because of his policy of isolationism, China has had an opportunity to fill the power vacuum left behind.
1
@BatmanTC We know but the way it was done so nonchalantly is frightening. A useful deterrent maybe.
1
This time on the Infographics show. Sharks and blood.
1
Yeah. It takes a lot of sexism-- I mean determination -- to uphold an unspoken rule for more than a millennia.
1
You can open your mouth and say that. But you are obviously ignorant because women are allowed in the Holy See, supposedly the Holiest site in the world. So you're sexist logic is flawed.

SHUT UP

People like you desecrate the trust the American People have in the United States Navy.

This video brings to the surface one disturbing, unpopular thought that keeps me up at night which is that: the State of Israel would not exist without Zionists being haunted by the horrors of the Holocaust.
1
@WildeHoppsANDW No because it was never about "race". It was about ethnicity and controlling the population. These and slavery have always existed since the dawn of warfare. BUT, the social construct of race is a distinctly European tool for colonization. I appreciate your logical and evidence based response.
1
@ryanestes7331 well yeah, the private might be shaky but the future is most likely when they will shine.
1
@MrDJAK777 Yeah. That actual 5-generation (no more 4.5 gen) technology is the result of the US's focus on smart weapons. Essentially the F-35 is the modern peak of the military-industrial complex.
