  8. It would be a cool hypothetical to imagine a West Coast Super-state. Obviously centered on California, w/ Washington State holding the military responsibilities -- Oregon would be a nice recreation region/state + a buffer so Cali & Washington don't beef.

  9.  @Phrancis5  Well I feel like even red states and blue states don't agree enough to secede as a unit. Maybe 3, 4, or 5 confederacies. All be it, ever since the Civil, the feds have reconstructed the Union so it wouldn't be worth it to secede successfully.

And while the Queen of England is divine but not God, herself, the Emperor of Japan is revered as a god. A god who received his authority from the chief god, Amaterasu themself.

It's a racist phrasing of Darwin's 'theory of evolution'. Charles Darwin's, the discoverer of evolution, original terminology was actually "natural selection" -- which is ethical and actually scientific.

  26.  @49trades4  Simple: Race is an overgeneralization of numerous ethnicities grouped together by certain biological traits such as skin color and hair texture. Before overgeneralization like this became relevant (ie: for easier colonization) people just referred to "other people" by their ethnicity or their relationship to said people. With this in mind, your response was smoke.

  36. Also, justified? Who is it to decide that? Humans? I don't mean to be philosophical but justice has never been in human hands. Instead, all that can be considered, is the positive and negative ethical ramifications. (BTW, ethics can also be dark/negative. They're not morals; You don't have to be internally satisfied with them or force a sense of justice upon them.)

  49. Honestly, a burial at sea by the United States Navy with religious customs is something (he did not deserve &) that no Muslim should complain about. It was an honorable ritual for a dishonorable terrorist. And for those that say it was too honorable... just be thankful that there weren't major reprisals putting even more servicemen's and citizens' lives at risk.
