  2.  @berryfin4648  You obviously don't understand the term "Superpower". A superpower is a great power that actively projects military, political, economical, & cultural power globally. China is an 'emerging superpower' but only satisfies the economical & cultural requirements -- growing political dominance. Japan is a 'great power' that is culturally renowned but its economy isn't as "great" as it seems. USSR USED to be a superpower, but now Russia can't even seriously be called a 'great power'. And if you were curious, the US is actually an 'emerging "hyperpower"', a state that has no equal rivals. As for now, it has rivals but not equal ones -- only time can tell if US deserves to be called a 'hyperpower'.
