While very limited (5% of the citizenry), women are not prohibited -- although there is extreme sexism. Interestingly, while religiously immoral, the Vatican even allows abortion (in highly extreme cases) to preserve the life of the woman -- proving that religion does not prohibit ethical reproductive rights. Mike Pence, SCOTUS, and the South need to take notes.

  14.  @Λυράρης  Theology does not permit a suspension of equal and fair human rights. You know who else uses theocracy as an excuse to ignore human rights & liberalism? ISIS. Iran. Libya. Hezbollah. Hamas. The Saudis. Puritans. Evangelists. Corrupt bishops & Popes. .... Even the Vatican under the current Papacy understands and respects liberalism and equality. So, at the very least, Mount Athos must move towards reconciliation.
