  1. Weak reference. He made that allusion with poor understanding. For some reason, Frank blamed John Kennedy for the American invasion of Vietnam. In reality, JFK was 100% against American troops entering the conflict (direct intervention) even though the IC and the Pentagon kept hounding him to invade. But just like Operation Northwoods, he vetoed the plans. But when he was assassinated, LBJ got sworn in as the 36th POTUS. Johnson had always advocated for direct intervention, so on March 8, 1965, he deployed troops. Frank Herbert was a brilliant man, but he was wayyyyy off on this one. He had a point but jumped to the wrong conclusion.

  5. You're delusional. JFK saved American and the world countless times. He was a war hero, a fierce senators, and a president that fought against the evils of America. And above all else, JFK prevented certain nuclear holocaust. TLDR: Go read a book.
