Comments by "King Ace" (@kingace6186) on "Why are politicians so DAMN RICH?!" video.
More like an oligarchy with Congress, as a collective, being the most powerful player, then the elected and appointed officials, then the rich and powerful private corporations, interest groups, & lobbies.

@mikotagayuna8494 There are Congresspersons, Supreme Court Justices, Presidents/Governors, Cabinet Secretaries, and so on -- who are NOT wealthy also have tremendous amounts of power over domestic & foreign policy. In America, you don't have to be rich to rule the country/world, it helps, but power is all that is needed. Money isn't the only form of power.

Which is exactly why it shouldn't be legal. "If you legalize selling organs, then rich people would be harvesting poor people's organs!" All people need is a strong incentive.

@williamyoung9401 You know, you can get on the FBI's and court's cases too by helping groups that have been fighting governmental insider trading for a long time.

Hey, Johnny and Team. Great video! Congressional insider trading is one of the worst erosions that's corrupting our democracy in our time. Lawmakers are essentially mocking and exploiting the fact that America functions as an indirect republic rather than a direct democracy. To makes matters even more complicated, there is so much ambiguity and nuance to the matter and no clear solutions that can realistically be implemented. (This is the first time I have ever been truly stumped when it comes to building a healthy democracy. I have neither possible nor plausible answers..... Vote, I guess...)

@xunqianbaidu6917 Incorrect on both counts, bans from trading are much harder than instituting a term limit. And neither would cause corruption; that's backwards.

The nastiest abuses of power are the bipartisan ones (ie: Gerrymandering; Title 42 Expulsions & Xenophobia; the Military-Industrial Complex)

@Molikai Exactly.

@AzureWolf Exactly my point. There is a difference between rich men and oligarchs leading a country (Russia). And anyone being able to gain power and then gain riches (US). Russia is a strong man plutocracy. The US is a representative oligarchy. But the main difference is that the people can change US Congress by voting, but in Russia, you need a coup or a revolution.

They also agree on anti-immigration. But they can't agee on which brand of xenophobia they want to wear, depending on the political climate.

'Hunting on Greenland' is the best piece that you and co have ever produced. (I have been saying that about a lot of recent videos uploaded before that came out.)
