  3. The scariest part of Trump 2.0 isn't his new found Presidential Immunity, a renegade court, or that he got elected with a trifecta. It's the fact that Congressional Republicans seem to have completely seeded their constitutional powers to Trump, going full sycophancy. On top of that, Trump seems to also be delegating all his power to the unelected multi-billionaire, Elon. This is expedited State Capture. I thought their ego would save us, but none of them have a backbone.

  5. One thing I don't like about corporate journalists is that they are too willing to give up ground just to prove a point. That level of sanewashing is what got us to this point in the first place. The first 5 minutes of this video is just sanewashing, but for who? You think MAGA or apathetic people will care about your message regardless of how curated it is? Your real audience doesn't need the sanewashing, they just need the journalism.

  6. That's the point. Citizen United V FEC was 2010 by the conservative majority Roberts Court. It was Neoconservatives that weakened the New Deal era reforms; even further back, it was Big Business GOP that championed the Gilded Age. This is bigger than MAGA, Republicans have been pushing for this reality for decades now. Even when Trump is eventually gone, the ultraconservatives will still keep pushing like they always have.
