  1. It's actually very common for religions to represent their gods as genderless or genderfluid. In the Abrahamic religions, most angels and demons are supposed to be ambiguously gendered. For example, Archangel Raphael is commonly portray as either a femboy or a woman. Hell, until Christianity rolled up, God wasn't even supposed to be a male figure but a being that is beyond gender and sex. Of course, this isn't translated into iconization because the followers of the 3 religions are very patriarchal in worship.
