  3. Like she said, the Mann Act is a horribly written piece of legislation originally meant to be used to discriminate against ostracized groups. It was "fixed" after the Jim Crow ended, but the truth is we need a new law on this meant to ACTUALLY combat sex and drug trafficking. That way actual sex offenders, like Matt Gaetz, won't be able to get away from federal jurisdiction.
