  1. In my opinion, impeachments should be held under political law instead of being seen as a solely political matter. Politicians should be able to be prosecuted for crimes they committed in office without relying on political whims. (For that, we need a legal system that doesn't base appointments on partisan incentives.)

  2. I think the founding fathers and framers foresaw a lot when crafting this nation and its Constitution. Yet, one thing that they never could have imagine was how polarized this country would get over a topic other than slavery and expansion. Today's GOP is playing scorched Earth and it's making them further and further polarized into the "extreme right". Democrats even play MAD because their window shifting further to the left just means that the party is now only "Center-Right" (Since Democratic Party has always been a firmly right-wing political party).
