@cksupreme Self-defense is not the same as stand your ground. Those are two different laws that allow the use of lethal force. The former is meant to save your life if it has to come to it. The latter gives you the power to kill anyone in the vicinity deemed "scary" even if there was no threat to life or property (IE: shooting someone for stepping on your lawn).

@stephenandersen4625 We're talking about modern, extremist Republicans and those who enable them. But, in history, Reagan wasn't my guy but he outspent the USSR into collapse and got a lot of shit done. Besides RR, Bush 41 is an old-school, country-club Republican. And some of my favorite presidents are Republicans, above all Ike Eisenhower with his military record, atoms for peace, and warning about the Military-Industrial-Complex.
