Saying this in 2023, I am so glad Trump was not reelected because Russia would have had free reign over not just all of Ukraine but also the Baltics and maybe even some Black Sea members. Articles 4 & 5 would have instantly become meaningless. Finland and Sweden probably wouldn't have summited applications for membership to such an unreliable, transactional alliance (Trump would be like Erdogan but 100x worse). And Trump, being close friends with Putin (his words not mine), would not have sanctioned Russia at all. Here's hoping Trump (nor DeSantis) doesn't win in 2024.
