  1. I like Hasan, but sometimes he comes out with horrible takes like this. What makes this horrible isn't the fact that he said something horribly, but that he is being wayyyyy too PC about this. Also, it was really weird to randomly insinuate the US is plotting a Bay of Pigs 2.0. Not everything in Latin America is like Cuba, dude. The Biden Admin is more than willing to support leftist governments like Brazil (Lula). But Venezuela is a dictatorial petrostate that is anti-worker. Unlike Cuba, the US didn't ruin Venezuela; Venezuela fell victim to the resource trap all on its own.
