  1. It's great you all got to experience Afghanistan before the Taliban took it over again. An Afghanistan before Afghanistan fell. While the land will always be beautiful, you all experienced the land during a time when there were unoppressed(-ish) Afghans, un-toppled cultural/religious statues, and so on.
