I wonder how the Reserve Bank of India's current "Vostro accounts" strategy to undermine the SWIFT Banking system and the US Dollar affects India's crucial place in President Biden's Indo-Pacific trade block. Is it a monkey wrench thrown into the plans or is it more of a bump/pot hole in the road?

  4.  @sooknandannishan  Actually, no. While Pres. Biden's trading block is flexible, India is basically threatening the power of the dollar by making its own system for unsavory partners. This plan was announced 2 months after Biden's Indo-Pacific plan, so it seems like a counter. While India still values its economic relationship with the US, this strategy of their pushes it to the very edge of how flexible the block can be. This is troublesome because it is supposed to be one of the rocks of Biden's pivot to Asia. Also, it needlessly strains Indo-American relations.
