You are drunk. Finland is a member state. And Sweden is only months away.

Your point about Russia's Northern Coast is important. If Moscow invests well, it will soon come to dominate the Northeast Trade Route.

A history lesson: In February 2022, Russian forces invaded Ukraine on three fronts because of the Eurasian Steppe's vulnerability. If Russia was a capable military and apt in logistics, Ukraine might have lost the war. The lesson: Geography will ALWAYS matter. We, Americans, learned that in Vietnam and Afghanistan.

What this comment section is ignoring is that there are many reasons countries start a war. This video should some of them. 1. Geography is a double-edged sword that every military analyst must understand. Hardliners in MoD would never risk losing any more buffer space. 2. The NATO encirclement narrative is an objective military weakness, but more importantly, it makes it easy to sell a war to the Russian people. Wars are battles for hearts and minds, too. 3. After Maidan, the annexation of Crimea, and the election of Zelenskyy, everybody knew that Ukraine had become pro-EU and much more interested in NATO.

This is how Moscow has historically made alliances. Through force. Look at the USSR & Warsaw Pact.

Unlikely as it may be. Ukraine. Will. Recover. ALL. Of. Its. Territory. Ukraine has never been more enthusiastic about NATO accession. And at this point, Ukraine deserves NATO membership.

When it comes to national security analyses, it's about mitigating any potential weaknesses, regardless of how unlikely. Especially if said threat is fatal to the state. Nukes can go a long way but no one sane would use them. So, being skilled in conventional and unconventional armed warfare makes a nation secure. Russia is lacking in the latter aspect which is why it is behaving paranoid.

You're reading too much into it. That was never the subtext of this video.

Russia has no vulnerabilities𤣠What fing planet are you on? The Russian AF are struggling in Ukraine, barely defended Belgorod from insurrectionists, and couldn't even protect the heartland from Prigozhin's rebellion. With the Baltics, Finland & Sweden in NATO, and Ukraine remaining strong, this is the weakest Russia has ever been in decades.
