The Presidential oath: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. So help me God."  Trump said the 14th Amendment does not apply to him because the oath he took was not to our Constitution. Trump's argument is that the presidential oath does not require a president to support or defend the constitution. Let that sink in for a moment.
