Conservatism is rooted in the past; it is hidebound, dogmatic, intellectually incurious, unwilling to explore and examine differing viewpoints, and completely, often rabidly dismissive of evidence to the contrary of its beliefs and core principles. "Conservative" people tend to be adamantly, willfully, often venomously ignorant of the truth, because the truth offends them. They seem to be hard-wired into this obstinacy, to the point of pathological obsession. This is why repubicans are simply incapable of governing.   4. Andy M WRONG!!!!!!! That's definitely voter suppression. That center had no right to stop them from going to the bathroom, let alone stopping them from willingly getting on a bus to go and vote. This isn't NK. And it wasn't a senior living center. It's a senior citizens center. The exact same as the one my grandmother goes to. And she has the freedom to go and come as she pleases. They can't hold people hostage, and against their will.

  5. Irina I could get behind that. However you mentioned human decency, of which American conservatives, have none. Just look at who their leader is. There's nothing decent about Trump whatever. And Republicans couldn't care less about social justice, social issues, or social equality. Republicans don't even care about Americans being to afford healthcare.
