  2. Barr was clearly upset that Mueller wrote an official letter expressing his disagreement with how Barr falsely summarized the report. Barr knew that Mueller’s letter to him would have to be filed and archived as evidence against him. Barr just admitted that he told Mueller during their conversation that he wished Mueller had simply called him instead of writing that letter. But Mueller clearly knew that Barr couldn't be trusted to tell the truth about any conversation between them.
