  1. Inspectors Generals serve as independent watchdogs. They are responsible for investigating wrongdoing within our government, which makes them an existential threat to a criminal and con-man like Trump. Trump is going after anyone and anything that poses a threat to him and his swamp. At the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked a question as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation.
