On Jan. 22, Trump downplayed the threat posed by the virus, telling CNBC from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, “We have it totally under control.”
With more than 1 million confirmed cases, and more than 67 thousand deaths, America now has more deaths and cases of infections than any other country in the world.
