"There's nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you've recalculated,"
Trump can be heard saying to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
Trump threatened Georgia’s secretary of state in an attempt to bully him into "finding" the votes that would overturn the state’s presidential election results. In the call Trump told Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger that he was taking “a big risk” by refusing to violate the Constitution by falsifying verified election results that showed Biden winning by 11,779 votes.
“The people of Georgia are angry, the people in the country are angry,” Trump said. “And there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated.”
First of all, the people of Georgia and the American people weren't angry, because the majority Georgians voted for Biden. Trump was trying to project his anguish and agony over losing onto them.
Trump also told Raffensberger and his general counsel, “I just want to "find" 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.”
On January 6, Capitol Hill Police Officers stopped the steal that Trump had planned.
Our nation owes them a debt of gratitude.
