  2. Make no mistake about it, Trump was definitely going to sell the classified documents. That's the only logical explanation as to why he took them to begin with, and why he refused to turn them over after he had been subpoenaed to do so. And if he truly believed those documents belonged to him, then he also believed that he could do whatever he wanted to with them.
