Trump doesn't regret not attending the WW1 memorial ceremony in France, and he doesn't regret not visiting Arlington National Cemetery on veterans day. He's utterly incapable of feeling remorse. But Trump did visit one of his dictator idols, Kim Jung Un. Trump even saluted a NK general during their meeting. Obama visited our troops in Iraq as a Senator in 2008. He then returned to Iraq to visit our troops as the president within 3 months of taking office. He visited our troops in Afghanistan 4 times during his presidency. Obama also visited Marines stationed in Hawaii every Christmas. Obama made a surprise trip to visit our troops in Afghanistan in 2014, and he took the time to shake hands with each of them.
