  2. Must Trump sully everything he touches? No president, especially a draft dodging coward like Trump, should intervene in the disciplinary matters involving military personnel and the UCMJ. ( Uniform Code of Military Justice )  The military is suppose to be impartial, unbias and apolitical. Trump’s pardoning  of Gallagher was nothing more than a self-serving PR stunt, a stunt that he thinks he can  personally benefit from. His reckless meddling in disciplinary matters like this can cause fissures within the ranks and command structure, and that would most definitely have an adverse effect on our military's moral and operational readiness. We've never seen anything like this before.  Personally, as a Marine veteran, this turns my stomach. Trump is the Typhoid Mary of Presidents. Everything he comes into contact with, dies.
