  1. Why are Republicans in Congress and the Senate so focused on the fact that Cohen lied, and not on why he lied, and who he lied for? Let's say I robbed a bank, and a good friend of mine knows what I did. So the FBI questions my friend, and my friend lies to the FBI just like I instructed him to do. The FBI then discovers that my friend lied to them to cover-up my crime. So they charge him, and give him a prison sentence, and they completely forget about me, and I get away Scot free. Now obviously, that would be utterly absurd., but that is exactly what republicans are doing in this case with Cohen and Trump. What in the Orwellian he// is wrong with Republicans?
