  1. As a Marine veteran, you are 100% correct. I'm not going to put anyone in a chokehold unless I intend on taking their life. Grabbing him from behind and pinning his arms to his sides would have been the proper maneuver.

  4. As a Marine grunt and combat veteran, I can tell you that some of the finest human beings I've ever met are Marines. Some of the most intelligent people I've ever met are Marines. The famous author Tom Clancy said the same thing about Marines. But I have also known Marines who were absolutely depraved, and who should have never worn the uniform or Eagle Globe & Anchor.
