  1. " We'll see what happens" is typical con-man lingo. Con-men use it when they don't know what they're talking about, and when they don't the answer to your question. If you ask a shady used car salesman if the car you just bought from him will make it home without breaking down, he would probably say something like " We'll see what happens."

  4. Don Williams 😄 I've never heard a coach say anything like that. At the least, a coach will say something like " we need to do a better job at this or that." Your analogy was a horrible example. Simply saying " We'll see what happens" is something a fan in the stands would say. and rightfully so, because a fan is not actually involved in the intricate details of the game plan.
