I can understand Big Papi and other players from the DR wanting to go back home to visit and do good things for their people, but at the same, they must realize that although the people of the DR are proud of him, there are a few who probably resent the fact that people like Ortiz made it out and became successful. Therefore anyone going back there should definitely hire sufficient security for themselves.
