@loucollins6367 I haven't done anything yet. I'm still chewing steak ok, It just takes me a bit longer. Money is an issue.

@carlandrews5810 No, sorry. I live in Panama.
1
@carlandrews5810 Carl, since my extractions, my dentist has retired. Sorry. Funny thing is that I am going to Colombia for a small medical procedure that is $4k in Panama but only $800 in Medellin. I think Colombia is much better for health care than Panama!

@koolhunk1225 I don't know, but so far I have not replaced them. But I am old... 😁
1
@theeemaven No, only local. It was fine for me, but I have a high tolerance for accepting any pain. Your mileage may vary.
1
@vtgirl1969 I know the feeling. I commiserate with you.
1
@vtgirl1969 Monitor your health for unexplainable problems. At least you will have more information than most.

@LordByron1821 I'm no expert, but I have watched many, many Carnivore diet videos. It seems that there is a difference between oxidized LDL cholesterol (bad) and non-oxidized LDL cholesterol (good). I think it goes something like this -- when sugar and carbs (Standard American Diet) are consumed with fat, free-radicals are formed which cause all manner of problems. Eliminating the sugar/carbs eliminates the problem. So even high cholesterol may not be a problem for Carnivores. Search YouTube for "oxidized cholesterol" and you will find a better answer than I can give.

@c.m.1826 And the same to you! Teeth are important. But not when they are killing us!
1
@bratty6194 Geesh, that's a tough situation. Good luck for the best outcome!

@fredsmith2277 I think I have one more root canaled tooth. It is loose in the socket. No pain, but I was just saying to my wife that I am unreasonably tired all the time. I think it is time to visit the DDS (Digger of Dirty Stumps as was said to me by a dentist friend many years ago.)
1
@fredsmith2277 Sure seems to be the case, doesn't it!
1
@nancyk5203 It was a total of 3 molars, all on the bottom.
1
I suspect that you will feel better without the tooth. I do not know about invisalign... @bhpunnya

That's no fun. As to the shots, I used to be chemically sensitive and had a response like yours. Thought I was dying. My dentist suggested that the next time that she use a numbing agent without epinephrine. It worked well, no panic, but the numbing effect doesn't last as long. Ask your dentist about this... Good luck. @numerouno3521

@syfodias-jedimaster It's worth investigating.
1
@rilynzzz It look just a few minutes to pull the tooth. Healing time varies depending on your overall health. For me, I ate eggs for two days and then could eat normally.
1
@JamieLe-b4n I think it depends. For me, restoring my failing health was more important than cosmetics or chewing. It depends on budget, your age, your vanity, I'm not sorry that I pulled then. Your mileage may vary. That's the best answer I can give you.
1
@SoundStonersENT Hey, you do you, I'll do me.
1
@eastwoofer 1990s more or less.
1
@cafepr No, I'm doing fine without it, I can still chew a nice ribeye steak. But I'm in my upper 70s. A younger person might not want to go 50 years without something in that space.
1
@123f89 Yes, I ask for an extraction. I tell them I can't afford a root canal and at my age of 76 don't mind losing the tooth. I tell them that if I lose enough teeth that I will just get a plate like my mother had. I don't even try to get into the conversation of the dangers of systemic infection in the future. If they don't know by now, they surely won't listen to me.
1
@yomdashuk2264 No, nothing beyond fillings. I say I'm going comando; as long as I can still chew a nice ribeye steak, I'm okay with it. But I'm old. A younger person might not want to go 30 or 40 years without an artificial fix.
1
@مهاجر-في-الغربة Very well said!
1
@yomdashuk2264 No, I haven't replaced any teeth yet.
1
@betsydonis5134 Search YouTube for "carnivore diet diabetes". I am no longer diabetic, my blood pressure is now normal and no more meds. It is a powerful way to eat and heal. You won't grow teeth back and you still may need dental care but Carnivore dramatically reduces inflammation throughout the body.
