Thanks Dr. Campbell. I am 73 and have not taken advantage of this shot in the arm thing. I have no comorbidities, do not eat inflammation-causing foods, get good sleep, good exercise, and take the appropriate supplements. The other day I swung a 10-pound sledge hammer for four hours and wasn't sore the next day. It has been years since I had a cold or the flu. I have a wonderful low-stress wife and am living a good life. At this point, it seems to me that for a healthy guy like me, this thing as good as over (unless it mutates in reverse). The risk/benefit for me, in my opinion, is all one sided. At risk people should be protected, of course, but I would like to see an end to all mandates, fear, and madness. They have caused so much harm in the world and have not been scientific in their application. By the way, I was vaccinated for everything as a child and several times in the military oh so long ago. I'm not anti-vax. I've never had a flu shot. Viruses are nature's clean up crew. This virus is not an equal-opportunity infector; healthy people generally skate by while sick people pay more dearly. This has been a pandemic of the unwell (insulin resistance, obesity, diabetes, CVD, high BP, and etc.). I could go on for hours but it's time for my siesta. Peace.
