  1. The best way to protect oneself from any illness, in my opinion, is to stop eating an inflammatory diet. Sugar, carbs, starches -- all cause inflammation, yielding metabolic disease. I'm 75 and have eaten only meat, eggs, butter, salt, and water for the past several years. My wife, too. We have not even had a sneeze or a cough. We made it through the thing without even getting the thing in our arms. As far as I am concerned, the Carnivore diet is all the protection I need to keep me healthy with no diagnoses, no pills, no shots.
