  1. We are witnessing the effects of the largest legalized, society-promoted addictive behavior. At 65 I was pre-diabetic, had high BP, brain fog so much that I needed to stop driving. I eliminated all sugars (including fruit), all carbs, and all seed oils. I now eat a keto or keto/carnivore diet. Now at 73 I have no diagnosis and take no meds. I'm driving again and feel sharp behind the wheel. The first six-weeks of sugar/carb withdrawal was sheer hell, but after that my health gradually turned for the better. I'll never go back no matter how much my friends want me to celebrate their addiction.

  2. It's one thing for a doctor to say, "Stop drinking sugary drinks." But this is an addiction and a person needs to understand that it is an addiction and treat it as such.
