  1. My wife and I have lived in the mountains of Panama for fifteen years. We have close relationships with several working class families. Over the past few years it has gotten harder and harder for the husbands and wives to find work. They have told me that it is because the Venezuelans are taking the construction and housekeeping jobs for much less pay. These Panamanians are hard working people who are being pushed to their limits.
