Without us knowing more about the Secret Service's advance team and planning for the security of this event, it might seem like a speculative remark about how political this agency is with its inclusivity... which is somewhat contradictory for an organization that has to differentiate its applicants in order to pick the best candidate for the job. The existing argument is that the current leadership in this agent is perhaps overly political rather than focusing on the mission. The agency is also well-funded with a sizeable budget. The Secret Service is also considered to be more rigorous in training and selection. It seems somewhat beneath a more elite organization to inadequately provide protection to important political candidates necessary for the safety and honest political process of this nation.
