  1. Google doesnt need to do 15-20 interviews to find the best applicant. I think this is a fallacy correlating interview round count to applicant quality. They do it because its a war of attrition to un-invested candidates, and even further to against not-desperate-enough candidates. They also do it because of the status/fame you get of being at Google and they don't want impostors. It's a waste of money.
